Terms & Conditions
The Parties
This website is owned and operated by World Of Wicker, 19 - 23 Manchester Road, Bolton, Lancashire, BL2 1EH. Registered in the UK, number 3705217. VAT Registration Number 482 407739. This entity may also be referred to as “The Seller”, “The Vendor”, “The Supplier” or “The Company” (or variations thereof) within the context of these Terms & Conditions.
“The Customer”
- any person or entity buying, or intending to buy, goods from The Supplier.
“The Website”
- www.pineandcane.co.uk. The use of the phrase ‘online’ is implied.
By ordering goods from The Seller online you are agreeing to these published terms and condtions.
Ordering
Orders for products sold online will only be accepted via The Website. Orders submitted by fax, telephone or email will not be accepted.
Online payment is processed by Protx. No credit card information is handled by The Website. Only information provided by The Customer will be passed on to Protx for the purposes of order fulfilment. Only the information already submitted by The Customer and, additionally, their name and address details (for delivery purposes and and any contact in regard to the order) will be passed back to The Seller. In this instance the data is only kept as stated in Privacy And Data Use.
All dimensions quoted are approximate.
Each peice of furniture has individual grain patterns, as no two pieces of wood are ever the same. Colour reproduction is as accurate as printing techniques will allow.
All prices quoted are inclusive of VAT at 17.5% and exclusive of delivery.
Delivery charges for cane products are based on geographical location.
Delivery charges for pine products are calculated by weight.
Delivery & Returns
The contract between The Customer and The Supplier is deemed to be complete upon delivery of goods as requested by The Customer.
Please allow upto 14 days from the date of your order for the goods to arrive.
All goods must be inspected upon delivery and signed for accordingly. Notification must be received by email, post or fax to The Supplier of any damage or shortage of the goods within 7 days from the delivery date clearly stating the problem. No rectification will be allowed for damage and shortage which is notified after this time, no matter howsoever caused.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that any returned goods are in the same condition in which they were received.
Furniture supplied for self assembly must be returned in the original packaging, safely sealed with all components supplied. Returns will only be accepted if all supplied components are present.
Replacements or missing parts can be supplied directly providing the critera above are met.
Assembled furniture products are designed so that any damaged component can be easily replaced. We will happily supply any component required, however it is The Customer's responsibility to arrange fitting.
In the event the customer returns any products for refund then handling and delivery costs will be deducted from the total amount refunded. Under no circumstances will the seller be liable for such costs.
Privacy And Data Use
Information provided by The Customer is used soley for the purpose of order fulfilment. This data will not be sold on, or otherwise given, to any third parties or used for any kind of marketing except where specifically authorised by The Customer. This data will be kept on record for a period of no longer than 24 months.
During the buying process the website will place a cookie on The Customer's computer. This is used for tracking the order and is temporary. The cookie and any of its contents will be deleted once The Customer's web browser is closed. The Website will not use any information stored on this cookie for any other purpose.
Exceptions
Whilst The Company will not, as a matter of policy, divulge any user-provided information to third parties, exceptions will be made where the information is required for means of legal enforcement – where formal police or court warrants are issued in pursuance of specific information. In that event only the information requested will be divulged.
